This quarter, we've delivered our most transformative update yet. From an AI-powered virtual assistant that feels like having a knowledgeable teammate always ready to help, to portal improvements and showcase experience, our Q4 releases are designed to make your marketing workflows faster, smarter, and more intuitive than ever.
We're excited to introduce the Data Dwell Virtual Assistant, an AI-powered companion designed to help you get more from the platform without the learning curve. But this isn't your typical chatbot that simply points you to documentation.
The Virtual Assistant is built as a network of specialised AI agents, each designed to handle specific tasks. When you start a conversation, a greeting agent analyses your request and intelligently routes you to the appropriate specialist agent. Whether you need platform guidance, help understanding your selected assets, or want to create a support ticket, you're always connected to an agent with the right expertise.
This agent network approach means the assistant can grow with your needs. As we develop new capabilities, we simply add new specialist agents to the network, each focused on doing one thing well.
The Virtual Assistant understands your entire support knowledge base and can guide you through platform features through natural conversation. Select assets and ask the assistant to tell you about them or rename them directly from the chat interface. Need support? You can create tickets directly through the assistant, streamlining your path to resolution.
The assistant is also optimised for mobile, so you can get help wherever you're working.
We've upgraded our Portals with modern technology, laying the groundwork for future enhancements while delivering improved performance and reliability.
Portal Folders now let you create and manage folders within each portal, allowing you to categorise shared content and organise new assets as they're added. This gives your external partners a more structured browsing experience.
Sometimes folder-based permissions aren't enough. You might have assets in the same folder that should be visible to different groups of users. That's where our new Visibility Levels feature comes in.
Visibility Levels work as a visibility controller alongside your existing folder permissions. It's a hierarchical structure applied at both the asset level and user level, giving you fine-grained control over who can see what. Users with the same permission profile can now access different assets based on their visibility level.
Here are some scenarios where visibility levels help:
Visibility Levels are worth considering when you need to store assets in the same folder but control visibility between user groups. In many cases, a well-planned folder structure can achieve similar results, but visibility levels offer an additional layer of control when you need it.
Speed and precision are everything when you're working against campaign deadlines. We've all seen it happen: your marketing manager spends valuable time hunting for assets instead of focusing on creative, high-impact work. Our Q4 updates bring new ways to cut through that operational friction.
Search in Record Lists is now available across most lists in the platform. Look for the magnifying glass icon to open the search box, making it quicker to find what you're looking for without scrolling through lengthy tables.
Sorting Options give you control over how assets are displayed. A new dropdown menu in both grid and list views offers expanded sorting columns, and your preferences are now remembered and reflected in the URL.
Project Search now lets you search for projects directly, including by external ID. No more scrolling through endless lists. Just type and find exactly what you're looking for.
Advanced Folder Filters in search now display more than two levels of subfolders, making it easier to locate assets in deeply nested folder structures.
Search Performance has been optimised with improved caching and query performance, laying the foundation for upcoming search enhancements.
Different workflows call for different approaches. Our new Flexible Library Pagination lets you choose between traditional pagination and a "Load More" option for continuous scrolling. Whether you prefer structured page-by-page browsing or a seamless infinite scroll experience, the choice is yours.
Marketing teams work with documents constantly, and our PDF Preview Tools make that experience better. New zoom capabilities improve readability for detailed documents, and you can now copy text directly to your clipboard, perfect for pulling quotes, extracting copy, or grabbing specifications without switching applications.
For teams building custom integrations or automating workflows, we've made several API enhancements this quarter. Updated documentation, improved endpoint responses, and additional search parameters make it easier to connect Data Dwell with your existing tools. Reach out to our team if you'd like to discuss the specifics.
Behind the scenes, we've made numerous improvements to ensure a smoother, more reliable experience. This includes enhancements to library stability, portal activity tracking, terms agreement workflows, public link functionality, API consistency, and map view interactions. We've also refined the role creation interface and optimised our asset API for better performance.
Our Q4 releases mark a significant step forward in how marketing teams interact with their digital assets. With AI-powered assistance that feels less like a technology demo and more like having a knowledgeable teammate, a refreshed portal and showcase experience, smarter search, and enhanced document tools, we're helping you spend less time managing and more time creating campaigns that make an impact.
At Data Dwell, our goal is not to replace human insight but to amplify it. Great technology should make your work easier, not more complicated.
