About Filters

Filters help users narrow down their asset view to find exactly what they need. By applying filters based on metadata, file properties, and other criteria, users can quickly locate relevant content without manually browsing through large libraries.

Filters are available in the Library, Metadata view, and Search results. The filter drawer opens from the right-hand side when you click the filter button.

Filter Types

There are two main types of filters:

Filter Options

The following filter options are available:

Users can combine multiple filters to refine results further.

Advanced Filters

Advanced filters provide conditional logic for more precise filtering. Users can build filter conditions using AND, OR, or custom logic to create complex queries.

Advanced filter conditions include:

Saved Filters

Users can save filters for reuse. Saved filters appear in the filter drawer and in Library > Filters for quick access. Administrators can create saved filters and make them available to other users.

Clearing Filters

Use the Clear All option to remove all applied filters and return to the full asset view.

Saved Filters vs Smart Folders

Both Saved Filters and Smart Folders are created from the filter panel after setting your filter criteria. They serve different purposes:

Use Saved Filters for quick, repeatable searches. Use Smart Folders when you want a permanent folder location for assets matching specific criteria.
