The Home Dashboard is the first screen users see after logging in. It provides quick access to common actions, library navigation, and recent content. Additional activity and engagement data is available through the Dashboard component for users with the appropriate permissions.
Access the Home Dashboard at any time by clicking Home in the navigation.
The Home Screen displays a personalized welcome message and search bar, followed by quick actions and content sections based on your permissions.
Quick actions provide one-click access to common tasks. Available actions depend on your user permissions and may include:
Below the quick actions, the Home Screen displays your library folder structure for quick navigation. Click any folder to browse its contents directly.
The most recently uploaded or updated assets appear at the bottom of the Home Screen, making it easy to find new content. Assets display in grid view by default.
The Home screen is itself a dashboard: a configurable screen that shows assets, activity, and metrics in a chosen layout. When the Dashboard feature is enabled, you and your users can create additional dashboards built from components such as asset lists, metrics, tiles, folder guides, and quick-action buttons.
Each dashboard can be private (visible only to its creator), public (visible to all users), or restricted to a specific user group, and administrators can set which dashboard users see by default. Data Dwell also provides built-in System Dashboards that can be set as default or hidden.
A date filter controls the time period for the data shown, and can be hidden or fixed on any dashboard.
