How to Use Public Link
Overview
The Public Link feature allows you to share and embed images directly from your asset library into websites, emails, or other digital content. It provides a URL pointing to the live asset hosted in your platform — no need to download, re-upload, or manually manage image files.
Public Link is especially useful for marketing and web teams, making it easy to keep embedded images always up-to-date with the latest version. If the asset is updated in the system, the link will automatically reflect the changes.
Before You Start
- Public Link is available through the Asset Details view, shown as a dedicated component.
- You must have permission to view or access the Public Link component.
- This feature currently supports direct image links. Parameters for resizing or cropping are not yet available in the current version.
Steps to Copy a Public Link
- Open an image asset in Asset Details.
- Scroll to the Public Link component.
- Click the Copy Link button to copy the direct URL to the asset.
- Paste the link wherever needed — such as into a website CMS, email template, or document.
How It Works
- The public link provides a stable, live URL that serves the original image from your asset library.
- If the image is updated or replaced, the link will always show the latest version.
- The link can be pasted into HTML, email campaigns, or used by developers to embed visuals on websites.
Benefits
- Save time: Skip downloads and uploads — just copy and paste.
- Stay up-to-date: Any changes to the image automatically appear wherever the link is used.
- Collaborate easily: Share a link with developers, designers, or partners — no attachments needed.
- Reduce duplication: Eliminate extra storage or asset copies across systems.
