Dwellings are internal collections of assets grouped around specific purposes—such as campaigns, projects, or products. Each Dwelling can include a short title and description to clarify its intent for users.

Assets within a Dwelling can be shared via Portals or Showcases, offering a streamlined connection between internal use and external presentation.
Portals are used for sharing digital assets externally with clients, partners, or prospects. They can include assets directly, or distribute assets via folders and Dwellings.
Portals enable flexible sharing without requiring a direct link to specific accounts or contacts. However, when such links are added, usage tracking becomes available on those records—providing visibility into engagement. Tracking is always available on the Portal itself.

Portals are especially powerful in sales workflows, allowing sales teams to track prospect activity in real time and follow up at the right moment.
Public Links offer a fast and straightforward way to share individual assets externally. Unlike Portals, these links do not require user identification or access control.
They are ideal for simple use cases where the asset needs to be made available quickly and openly. Permissions such as view-only or download can be configured depending on the use case.

Showcases provide a curated visual experience for presenting digital assets. Currently, the available template supports image galleries, making them ideal for product displays, portfolios, or campaign visuals.
Future templates will expand presentation formats, opening up more use cases beyond static galleries.
