- How do I upload files?

Metadata
- What is metadata in this platform?
Metadata includes all searchable and descriptive fields attached to an asset - such as title, tags, usage rights, and more. See metadata overview. - What are Metadata Profiles?

- How can I share an asset externally?

Yes, tracking is available on the Portal record. If the portal is connected to accounts or contacts, tracking extends to those records.
Records
- What is a Portal?
A Portal is a secure space for sharing assets with external users. Access settings include password protection, download permission, and email/domain restrictions. More on Portals. - What is a Dwelling?

Permissions & Access
- How do I delete a user?
Navigate to Admin Settings > User Settings > Users tab. Locate the user in the list, then either click the three-dot menu and select Delete, or open the user record, click the cogwheel icon, and select Delete. Learn more about managing users. - Why can't I perform certain actions?
Access to records, assets, and features is defined by your assigned Role and User Group. Understand permissions. - What controls who sees what?
Permissions are based on folder assignments and role configurations. If you need broader access, contact your admin.
Account & Administration
- How can I check my storage usage?
You can view your storage usage in Admin Settings > Dashboards. The dashboard opens by default when you access the admin area. - How do I cancel my account?

- Can I change the platform branding?

Troubleshooting
- How do I get help when users can't log in?
Administrators can reset a user's password directly from the platform, providing a temporary password for immediate access. Users can also use the Forgot Password link on the login screen. If these options don't work, contact support@datadwell.com or create a support ticket via the virtual assistant within the platform. - I can't upload a file - what should I do?
